DrinkLync Accessibility Statement

DrinkLync is committed to making mobile drink-ordering usable by everyone, including people with disabilities. We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA across our web app, iOS, and Android apps, and we treat accessibility as an ongoing effort, not a one-time project.

Last updated 2026-06-21 · Version 1.0

1. Our standard

We target conformance with WCAG 2.1 Level AA. These guidelines explain how to make digital content more accessible to people with a wide range of disabilities, including visual, auditory, motor, and cognitive disabilities.

2. What we do

  • Design for sufficient color contrast and a clear, consistent layout.
  • Support text resizing, screen readers, and keyboard / assistive-touch navigation where the platform allows.
  • Offer an in-app Reduce Transparency setting (Settings, under Accessibility) that replaces frosted, see-through panels with solid backgrounds for easier reading.
  • Provide text alternatives for meaningful images and non-text controls.
  • Offer manual fallbacks when a permission (camera, location, notifications) is denied, so the core ordering flow stays usable.
  • Include accessibility checks in our design and engineering review for new customer-facing screens.

3. Known limitations

Some areas may not yet fully conform. Examples include third-party embedded content, maps, and newly shipped features pending review. We prioritize fixes that affect the core ordering, pickup, and account flows.

4. Reporting a barrier / requesting help

  • If you encounter an accessibility barrier, or need information in an alternative format, contact help@drinklync.com with the subject line “Accessibility”.
  • Please include the page or screen, the device and assistive technology you were using, and a description of the problem.
  • We aim to acknowledge accessibility reports within 5 business days and to resolve or provide a workaround as promptly as we reasonably can.

5. Ongoing improvement

Accessibility is an ongoing commitment. We intend to obtain periodic third-party accessibility evaluations and to fold remediation into our regular release cycle. This statement will be updated as our conformance and processes evolve.
