Bar owner

Your night, from the customer's phone to the morning recap.

Every time

  1. Customers order and pay from their phone, at the bar they are standing at.
  2. The ticket lands typed on that bar's iPad; the bartender accepts, makes it, taps Ready.
  3. The gatekeeper scans the customer's QR, checks every item, taps Hand off.
  4. The manager watches it live in Live Orders and Action Center.
  5. Next morning: Action Center has last night added up, with the Nightly Recap.

When something goes wrong

  • Something ran out: 86 it from the bar iPad or the menu; it leaves every customer menu at that bar.
  • A new iPad: Devices, Pair a device, one-time code, works once, expires in 10 minutes.
  • Questions: help@drinklync.com.

You can now

  • Follow one order from a customer's phone to the handoff and say who made it and who handed it off.
  • Explain to your team what happens when a drink is 86'd while a customer has it in the cart.
  • Open last night's recap and pick one thing to change this week.
  • Pair a new station iPad to one bar and one role.

Manager

Run tonight from Live Orders; read it tomorrow in Action Center.

Every time

  1. Open Action Center: tonight as it happens, and what needs you.
  2. Live Orders: every open order by status and bar, no refresh.
  3. Out of something: 86 the menu, Availability applies to one bar or the whole venue.
  4. New staff: Staff, Invite Staff, one account and PIN each.
  5. New iPad: Devices, Pair a device, Generate pairing code.
  6. Next morning: Nightly Recap in Analytics.

When something goes wrong

  • A problem at pickup: the bell alerts you; open the order from Live Orders.
  • A refund: it starts from the order.
  • Training: Staff, Training Mode; practice orders never count in your numbers.

You can now

  • Find any open order in Live Orders and say which bar and which stage it is at.
  • 86 a drink for one bar or the whole venue, and bring it back.
  • Pair a station iPad to a bar and a role.
  • Read last night's Nightly Recap and name the best seller and the busiest bartender.
  • Run three practice orders in Training Mode before a new hire's first shift.

One queue, typed tickets, oldest first.

  3. New orders appear on their own. Tap Accept to claim one.

  • Spilled or made wrong: open the ticket, Made it wrong, pick a reason.
  • Ran out: 86 button on the queue toolbar, tap the drink. Tap again to bring it back.
  • Tips: on the ticket, and your shift total on My shift.

You can now

  • Sign in with your own PIN and pick the bar you are working.

Gatekeeper

Scan, check every item, hand off.

Every time

  1. Tap your name, enter your PIN, pick your pickup point.
  2. The Ready Wall shows every order marked Ready, by first name and drinks.
  3. Customer walks up: tap Scan QR, point at the code on their phone.
  4. Match the drinks on the tray against the sheet, then tap Hand off.

When something goes wrong

  • Code valid proves the order, not the person or their age. Doubt: pause and ask your manager.
  • Wrong or missing: Problem, then Missing item, Wrong drink or Customer mismatch. The order stays on the wall.
  • No QR: look the order up by name or code.

You can now

  • Start your shift on the pickup point you are working.
  • Scan a customer's code and check every item on the sheet before you tap Hand off.
  • Say what Code valid proves, and what it does not.
  • Flag a problem without releasing the drink.
